surgeons

I received this today via email. Judging the way our politicians have been acting this week here in Canada, it is quit fitting. Thanks for the great budget Harper, Thank God the rich wont have to worry in the future, we wouldn't want to stress them out.

FIVE SURGEONS

Five Canadian Surgeons are discussing who makes the best
patients to operate on.

The first, an Ontario surgeon says, "I like to see accountants
on my operating table, because when you open them up,
everything inside is numbered."

The second, a Quebec surgeon responds, "Yeah, but you should
try electricians! Everything inside them is color coded."
The third a B.C. surgeon says, "No, I really think librarians are
the best; everything inside them is in alphabetical order."

The fourth, an Alberta surgeon chimes in: "You know, I like
construction workers...those guys always understand when
you have a few parts left over.

But the fifth, a Newfoundland surgeon shut them all up when he
observed:"You're all wrong. Politicians are the easiest to
operate on. There's no guts, no heart, no balls, no brains
and no spine, and the head and the ass are interchangeable.

PS: Newfoundland got completely screwed by the recent budget (full of broken promises)you know a budget is bad when we look to the Atlantic Accord as a good document in comparison.

Cop Out

Sorry for the cop out on the blog but I have been busy lately and this is funny cause I am actually 31.

You Are 31 Years Old

Under 12: You are a kid at heart. You still have an optimistic life view - and you look at the world with awe.

13-19: You are a teenager at heart. You question authority and are still trying to find your place in this world.

20-29: You are a twentysomething at heart. You feel excited about what's to come... love, work, and new experiences.

30-39: You are a thirtysomething at heart. You've had a taste of success and true love, but you want more!

40+: You are a mature adult. You've been through most of the ups and downs of life already. Now you get to sit back and relax.

Professionalism?

This is a great post from ERnursey

The reason I am posting this is our group has been tagged as being a little unprofessional lately and I thought this story might open some minds that it is mostly the little things that you do that make you appear professional or not. It is not how important you can make yourself out to be or how busy you feel. I am not ranting as I am quite guilty of doing these little things. Mostly, if you think about it, much of professionalism is maturity. If you think you are a mature person, look around at how you act towards others during the day. then re-evaluate.
